BCC Software to Present at Northern Illinois PCC and MFSA Mid-Winter Conference
BCC will participate in discussions of major postal issues at leading industry events in January
Rochester, NY — BCC Software, a BÖWE BELL + HOWELL company and a leading developer of high-performance solutions for professional mailers, will participate in the Northern Illinois Postal Customer Council (NIPCC), January 13 at the Marriott Schaumburg in Schaumburg, IL. BCC will also discuss the latest mailing issues with attendees at the Mailing & Fulfillment Service Association (MFSA) Mid-Winter Executive Conference, January 21-24 at La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, CA.
At the NIPCC event, Chris Lien, BCC Executive Vice President, will present on the latest in technologies and best practices for address quality. Lien's presentation will explore CASS-certified mailing software, the latest link-based technology and requirements for keeping up-to-date with Move Update rules.
"With the penalties for Move Update non-compliance now in effect, it is imperative that mailers understand how to maintain their address quality," says Chris Lien, BCC Executive Vice President. "Arming mailers with these tools can help ensure their lists are complete, correct and current and that their mailing workflows remain uninterrupted and profitable."
Lien will next travel to the MFSA Mid-Winter Executive Conference, where he will deliver a presentation on the major issues facing mailers in 2010: Address Quality, the potential of Intelligent Mail, and the increasing need for innovation at all levels of the mailing industry.
Active in the mailing industry for more than 15 years, Chris Lien joined BCC in 2007. Throughout his career he has maintained an active involvement in industry groups such as the Association for Postal Commerce, the Mailing & Fulfillment Service Association, Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers, and IDEAlliance, where he currently serves as representative to the Mailers Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC). He was recently named leader of MTAC's industry focus group for address accuracy. Lien holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
