Mail Manager 2010’s Firm Packaging option allows Periodical mailpieces going to the same destination to be combined into a single package. This can result in substantial postage savings since the single piece rate is charged for the entire package, plus total poundage.

When the Make Firm Packages option is selected, Mail Manager 2010 automatically examines the list data and creates Firm Packages as appropriate. You can also create an expression to make Firm Packages based on user-defined criteria in addition to the Firm Packages created automatically.
