Use this function to compress large lists or those that are used infrequently. Mail Manager 2010 compresses all files associated with the list, as well as the data in the list. Compressed lists have an .mcl extension. This compressed file replaces the original .dbf file and all associated files.

Lists can be automatically opened by Mail Manager 2010 after they are uncompressed.
