The Workflow
The graphic below depicts the typical TDM / DLI workflow, and the steps required to put TDM's time- and money-saving power to work for you.
TDM: Free Online Service
- Job Creation and Quote Generation
- Access TDM via the BCC Customer Portal.
- Create a new job by entering Job Specifications, Origin Location, and Destination Location/Type.
- Review the Job Summary page to revise your specifications as desired.
DLI: Drop-Ship Logistics Provider
- Submit Job for Processing
- On the final Job Summary screen, click the Submit button.
- Accept the terms and conditions (service levels, payment terms, etc.).
- TDM issues a confirmation number and alerts DLI of your job.
- Confirm Job
- Fax copy of USPS form 8125 to DLI (click for sample)
- DLI contacts you directly via phone to verify your job specifications and USPS Form 8125 compliance, and to discuss any known factors (e.g., weather conditions) which may affect delivery.
- Pick-Up and Delivery
- DLI picks up and delivers your mailing to the USPS facilities specified in your job
- DLI provides delivery confirmation via fax/e-mail.
- Payment for drop-shipping is completed via your preferred method.

Getting Started
Head to the user-exclusive BCC Customer Portal, click the Services tab, and follow the link on the left-hand side of the page. Please note that only users with a Purchaser designation can access TDM: if you’re the designated Portal “Admin” for your company, you’re all set. If not, that individual can give the service a try, or give you Purchaser authorization by adjusting your user profile in the Portal.
