BCC Software Adds Sack-Based
Functionality
to Mail Manager 2010 Palletization
Options
May be purchased separately from Tray- or
Package-Based
Palletization Options,
or as a Full Palletization Set
Rochester NY — A
significant yet underserved mailing industry
segment will benefit with the release of a new
option designed to complement Mail Manager 2010
software from BCC Software Inc.
The new Sack-Based Palletization option allows
users to apply the same high-performance features
and functionality of BCC Software’s Tray-
and Package-Based options to the still substantial
realm of mail sack presorting.
“Our customers have told us there is a
substantial need for this option,” K.
Jon Runstrom, BCC Software President, said. “A
lot of professional mailers use sacks in place
of or in addition to trays. But until now, there
has not been a way for mailers to benefit from
the advanced presorting capabilities available
in software like Mail Manager 2010. This option
changes all that.”
In addition to fast and accurate presorting,
the Sack-Based Palletization option provides
the required documentation and United States
Postal Service information for jobs, and produces
pallet placards for maximum convenience. The
background-processing feature is particularly
useful for high-volume mail houses accustomed
to dealing with many jobs within a fixed timeframe.
As with Mail Manager 2010 and other related
options, Sack-Based Palletization offers powerful
features, plug-and-play convenience, and a user-friendly
interface that shortens users’ learning
curves. The $2,000 price point includes one year
of unlimited toll-free telephone support and
product updates. (A complete Palletization solution — with
Sack-, Tray- and Package-Based modules — may
be purchased for $4,000.) These options may only
be used with Version 2 of Mail Manager 2010.
