BCC Software Introduces
Package Services
Option
for Mail Manager 2010
Allows Users to Capitalize on High Volume Mailings
Rochester, NY --- BCC Software, the leading developer of high
performance software and solutions for professional
mailers, introduces Package Services, a premium
option for the company’s flagship product,
Mail Manager 2010. The Package Services option
allows Mail Manager 2010 users to see substantial
savings in the costs associated with distributing
high quantities of Bound Printed Matter and Parcel
Post mailpieces.
Used in tandem with Mail Manager 2010, a Windows-based
software program with database maintenance, presorting
and ZIP + 4 encoding capabilities, the Package
Services option enables automatic zone calculation
for any U.S. entry point. Sorted pieces can be
placed in sacks or on pallets and all containers
are sorted accordingly and separated by zone.
The result is one of the most cost-effective
solutions of its kind on the market.
“The Package Services option with Mail
Manager 2010 provides the unique functionality
required by Bound Printed Matter or Parcel Post
mailers, along with all the productivity-boosting
features found in the standard Mail Manager 2010
solution,” said Ted Seward, Vice President
of Marketing for BCC Software. “With strong
list management capabilities and Mail Manager
2010 features like the customizable Label Designer,
these mailers can improve their communications
with customers even while increasing their efficiency
and profitability.”
Package Services rates are determined by weight
zone and presort level; sorts are based on pieces
of identical weight and size. Bound Printed Matter
mailings generally consist of materials such
as books and catalogues that weigh up to 15 pounds.
Parcel Post is packages (old standard B) weighing
up to 70 pounds.
The BCC Software solution supports all sortation
levels and destination discounts, with barcoded
discounts available for output sent to Windows-compatible
printers. Machinable and non-machinable parcels
are also supported, and BCC includes all required
documentation plus facsimiles for PS forms.
Pricing
The Package Services option costs $2,000 for
current Mail Manager 2010 customers. All purchase
prices include one year of BCC’s industry
acclaimed Toll-Free Telephone Support, software
updates (six bi-monthly CDs; other downloads
available via Web site), and a Mail Manager
2010 User Guide.
