BCC Software Adds Support for USPS PS Form
3602-C
to Acclaimed Mail Manager 2010 Software
Important postal form can now be automatically
completed
and printed
with ease, aiding efficiency and productivity
Rochester, NY — BCC Software, the leading
innovator of high-performance software and solutions
for professional mailers, has added support for
PS Form 3602-C to its flagship product, Mail Manager
2010TM presorting and list-management software.
The United States Postal Service® (USPS®)
requires Form 3602-C (Consolidated Postage Statement
Supplement) from larger mailers utilizing the Plant
Verified Drop Shipment (PVDS) method of verification
and acceptance.
“Support for this form adds significant
time-saving value and convenience for our customers,” said
K. Jon Runstrom, President of BCC Software. “With
this addition, BCC continues its commitment to
providing innovative enhancements and new capabilities
that help make professional mailers. jobs easier,
more efficient, and ultimately more profitable.
BCC is happy to include this feature at no additional
charge to Mail Manager 2010 users.”
High-volume mailers use the PVDS option to avoid
the hassle and expense of delivering mail to Postal
ServiceTM facilities. Instead, mail is verified
and accepted by USPS acceptance clerks permanently
assigned to the mailer’s facility. Mail Manager
2010 added support for two other forms related
to the PVDS process, PS 8125 and PS 8125-C, in
2003.
This newly supported feature of Mail Manager 2010
allows users to append multiple 3602 forms into
one statement. The form can be completed manually,
or Mail Manager 2010 can handle the task automatically
using a few simple onscreen commands.
Mail Manager 2010 is a Windows®-based software
system that helps users optimize, standardize,
and enhance data, optimize postal presorts for
postage savings, utilize extensive database-maintenance
functions, experience a reduction in mailroom production
costs, and enjoy the benefits that come from improved
deliverability of mailpieces.
Pricing
Mail Manager 2010 is priced at $3,500, including
one year of BCC’s nationally recognized toll-free
telephone support, all software updates including
six bimonthly CDs, and a comprehensive User Guide.
