Reminder: Recent Changes to BCC Solutions Software
Published November 2011
Due to changes within the postal industry and the continuing transition to the Bell and Howell name throughout BCC Solutions software, the following changes were included in the October software updates:
Postal Changes
- PostalOne!®: Support added for Release 28, required by the USPS® as of 11/6/2011. Only Mail.dat® versions 11-1 and 11-2 will be supported.
- Mail.dat: Added support for version 11-2. Support for 8-2 and 9-1 will remain but an error message will display if the 'PostalOne! preparation' checkbox in the Mail.dat Wizard is selected.
In-Software Name Changes
- Company Name: Bell and Howell
- Solution Names: BCC Mail Manager Full Service, BCC Mail Manager, BCC Mail Manager LE, and Data Services
- Presort Documents: The following documents now use the name Bell and Howell BCC, LLC:
- Outside County Container/Bundle Report
- Presort Job Setup Report
- Manifest Report
- Presort Production Report
- Qualification Report
- Zone Distribution Report
